How to Effectively Deliver Positive Feedback When Coaching

As it lets your clients know how they are progressing, feedback is an essential tool in the coaching process. It is important for your clients to look at feedback as helpful, instead of as criticism, but it needs to be done in a positive manner.

It’s All in the Timing
The most effective feedback is delivered shortly after the action it is referring to because waiting too long to offer it will lose its impact, Also, consider where you deliver your words of wisdom. Choose a time when you are out of earshot from other people, so as not to embarrass your coachee.
